We collect your email address used to create your account, text content you upload for study purposes stored as processed chunks, your quiz results, flashcard ratings, session history, and AI-generated learner profile to personalize your experience, and how you interact with the Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service including AI-powered study features, to personalize your learning experience through your learner profile, to track your study progress and mastery over time, and to communicate with you about your account.
When you upload a file, text extraction occurs locally in your browser where technically feasible. Your original file is never transmitted to our servers. Only the extracted text content broken into chunks for AI processing is stored on our servers. This text data is stored securely and used only to provide AI-powered study features to you. You can delete your documents and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
Your study content and interactions are processed by Anthropic Claude AI models to provide mentoring, quiz generation, and other features. We do not use your personal study data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with Anthropic for AI processing, Supabase for secure database storage, and Vercel for hosting. We may also share data with law enforcement when required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit via HTTPS, encrypted database storage, and row-level security policies that ensure users can only access their own data.
You have the right to access all data we hold about you, delete your account and all associated data at any time via Account Settings, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of non-essential communications.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service.
